Four days left to save 100 euro on early bird registration

There are only four days left to get early bird registration for the IRCT Scientific Symposium and save 100 Euro on the fee. Early bird registration will close on 31 July, after which the regular fee for international participants will be 480 euro, while local participants based in Mexico will pay 320 euro.

Places are filling up quickly for the event, which will bring together up to 450 participants from over 60 countries and across professions including clinicians, researchers, lawyers, funders and policy makers.

Over 100 abstracts from authors from around the world have been accepted to feature on the final programme, which will be released at the end of August. In addition to the main plenaries, participants will have the option to choose from 30 working sessions covering a wide range of sessions. These include responding to the needs of torture survivors across identities, innovation to support survivors, funding rehabilitation services, measuring rehabilitation and evidencing change and preventing torture and holding perpetrators to account.

There will also be a Symposium poster session and exhibitor space during the three-day event and many opportunities for participants to network and meet with colleagues from around the world. The event is jointly hosted by the IRCT and Colectivo Contra la Tortura (CCTI) and is being held prior to the IRCT General Assembly, which runs from 8 to 9 December.
